This is where the hipsters live!

I’ve been to Settlement Co. for a couple of times meeting with Paige (a different Paige) & Kyle for their wedding shoot sync-ups and plannings, but I never had a chance to try out a proper coffee from this place. I really should’ve taken a photo of the coffee, but the french press was pretty good.

I make a lot of french pressed coffee at home, and this one was great. Paige didn’t like it too much, said it was a bit too much on the acidic side for her, but I kinda liked the after taste, and it was certainly strong enough to keep me up the whole day. Paige had a bit of a rough start to the day, and she decided to go with a heavy makeup to cheer herself up a bit, but I think the atmosphere and the coffee helped her get back to form, at least I’d like to think so.

This shop also has great atmosphere, and they provide wireless charging through Powermat dongles. The one thing I really like about this place is the wifi password: “iloveyou”, it forces you to say something nice to the person beside you, or even better if you’re on the receiving end! Little details make life interesting, and I love this little café.
