Must. Have. Coffee.
Ever since I got the drip filter, my coffee situation at work has been improved drastically. The beans we have are actually fantastic. But on the weekends, I continue my trek of finding the best coffee wherever I go.
This weekend, I had plans to go to Outer Sunset for some sunset shots on the beach, so I thought why not try the best rated coffee nearby? I found these guys on Yelp, 4.5 stars with 500 reviews; look at their menu and I thought they should be pretty good, because it was minimalistically full of coffee.
It’s a very, very small shop. There are super small tables inside, and one giant table near the door. It seems like most of the coffee shops in San Francisco are very stingy with real-estate, probably considering the price.
Continuing my tradition, I ordered an Americano, but it was a bit weaker than I was used to. The taste and aftertaste were still pretty great, though I’m not particularly a fan of the beans they are using: it’s very mild and fruity.
If I had a choice, again, I would go back to DVLB. I’ve yet to find another coffee roaster who can do their beans the same way as Smile Tigers do, and it’s just ever so slightly disappointing. DVLB has spoiled me like a good relationship; I’m always chasing after it.
8/10 would try other coffee here.
