Café Series: Berlin Bicycle Café Kitchener

Let’s change things up a little bit this time. Every cafe post will now have an accompanying song.

This week’s feature is Bolppalga4 (볼빨간사춘기), and their song Galaxy or 우주를 줄게.

Recently I’ve been super busy with school and interviews. Never really had a chance to go proper cafeing for a while now. For those who have seen my previous post, it hasn’t really gotten any better. Today’s trip is actually for more productivity, because my roommate recently got me back into Battlefield 4 again.

With that said, we’re visiting the Berlin Bicycle Café in Kitchener today.

Another day, another coffee shop, or so I thought, but with the standard Americano test, this little place impressed me with that full-bodied roast, and regular dark-roast blend solidified its second place spot in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.

The flavor of their dark roast reminds me of the coffeeshop/workspace across from AdRoll’s old office in San Francisco, and along with it, the cute barista who works there. It’s a lot more fruity, a bit sour on first taste, but follows with a smokey finish. Aftertaste is clean, and you’re not left with the weird coffee breath that a place like Tim Hortons will give you.

I like this place, decently sized workspaces, easy parking, good wifi connecting (barring 2.4Ghz, apparently that’s not working).

I just wish I wasn’t here to do work.
