Second roll of film I shot with the camera, as soon as I knew the camera worked, is the Portra 400.
I first shot an expired 120 roll of these back in 2013 when I was on co-op at QNX, and had a chance to play with a Mamiya 645. Despite screwing up and ruining most of the exposures, the survived few shots were amazing. The dynamic range, despite being expired, was incredible, and the color grading is a very muted, pastel-like color.
I loved every bit of it.
So of course I went out and blew through a whole roll of these as soon as I had the chance.
I’ll let the photos speak for themselves, as usual.
Oh, and here’s a song to listen to while you do that.
Cheers,
-Tao
