I’ve been back home for Christmas, in Ottawa.
But I planned for a Toronto trip in the middle of this little vacation, because most of my friends ended up in Toronto after graduation.
I know Vancouver is supposed to have better Korean food overall, but I still hold onto the belief that Finch Ave. has the best Korean food in Canada. I’m probably biased, but my friend Alice had this place scoped out long before I came back.
We met up on the 27th, caught a movie, and headed for a quick look on Polson Pier before we drove up to Finch for food.

Pictured above are Priyansh and Alice, and the Toronto skyline during sunset. I can almost never get tired of looking at it, though my face was frozen, it was roughly -30 C on that pier.

Kobi Korean BBQ was an interesting place, relatively small, but soon after we arrived there had already been a lineup for service. We got lucky, and we had a booth all to ourselves.
The food was fantastic, the appetizer selection was great, and the price was decent. The only thing missing is a couple bottles of Soju, but since I had to drive to pick up Laura from the airport later, I couldn’t have any. Then again, spicy chicken with cheese, you can’t really go wrong with that. I kinda wished I’d tried some other stuff but I’ll get another chance at it back in Vancouver with Nick.
8/10 would go again.
